Proof she's only 11... and Lost talk

We were watching Lost together and Shannon made some comment about being along with Sayid on Saturday night. There was a comment about Sayid and I replied and in the end I said: "I don't know. I'd like to spend Saturday night with Sayid if I was trapped on the Island."

Her reply: "Well, yeah. But not for the same reason as Shannon."

Me: ... ...

Right. Absolutely not.

Heh.

She's so sweet.

I adore the backstory with Sun and Jin. It is both wonderfully complex and completely believable. The fact that he was working for her father -- and becoming something he despised -- because he loves her. And by doing it, he was losing her.

Very nice.

I love how he goes back to his father and says: Forgive me, Father, I was ashamed of you. He can say it because he's really now ashamed of himself.

I will also point out that my daughter actually shouted "no" when Jin said "It's too late" and then walked away.

Oh, and I knew who burnt up the boat. I figured it out just before Locke said it. Good of me, huh? I mean, I can read a scene.

I love Jin. There is a lot more to the character than first appears.

Myr is upset that they didn't fix Sun and Jin. I think that they can't start over, but they can go on. We will see.

This was a very good episode. And once again Sawyer proves he's a jerk -- and I actually wanted Jin to pound on the obnoxious redneck. Even if he is cute.

It was an interesting episode- is that the first time we have seen Locke lose his temper? I like that *someone* finally said out loud "There are other people on this island and they do not mean us well."

Interesting way to have Sun reveal she speaks English. (Hurley: Whoah, didn't see that comin'.)

Logic told *me* Jin didn't do it because he wants Michael away from Sun and this would do it.

Poor Sun. And they explained *so much*: the flower, the puppy, where the blood in the bathroom came from.
