Ya know, I did this whole first post thing last night, only the servers were down and when I said post, it didn't. :-p

So I guess I'll have to wait until I'm off work (because tho I'm not technically working, I am *AT* work, so I better not spend too much time doing this) to try to do this all again.

And just so you know, I really hate having being a techie right now, I think all computers should just, well, work. *WITHOUT* me having to attempt to fix them! I don't get paid NEARLY enough to do computer and network maintenance. (I'm not that good at it, either).

How can I be so busy and still seem like I get nothing done?

I'm supposed to be starting NaNoWriMo tomorrow. National Novel Writing Month, FYI. The goal is to write 50,000 words in a month. I've been toying with the idea of doing a fantasy type story (I don't want to say book, cuz although it is called NaNOVELWriMo, you really can't do a novel in 50,000 words and the main goal it to WRITE not necessarily write PERFECTLY), but after chatting with JediJenn (Hmmm, I will have to learn how to HTML that to make it go to her page) she said that I should pick up on "Out of the Past" where I left her hanging over (OMG) 15 years ago.

Well, they don't really want you to use a work in progress, but since I haven't actually WRITTEN on the story in over a decade, I don't see how it could be a WIP. I'll just start where I left off and count the wordage from that point on...

I'll have to think about that.

MLK was having a problem. She was soooo upset because she had math homework. Tears even. She said to me: "I don't want to LEARN, I just want to KNOW."

Ahhh... out of the mouths of babes. I told her we all wanted that, but I don't think she really understands how MUCH I would like that.

Well, I think I'm going to have to force her to go to bed now. She'll have a half hour to read, then the dreaded sleep....
