Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] crossovers_las. The prompt was "When Pigs Fly". I automatically thought of Jack Hodgins. Even if he didn't end up the focus the of the fic, he inspired it. Oh, and this is slightly different than the las-posted version. Because I just can't stop revising. *headdesk*

Neal walked into the White Collar division fifteen minutes late and more than a little surprised that Peter wasn’t waiting at the door ready to give him a hard time. )

I got around to watching Tuesday's White Collar.

Ramblings about the ep that aired and the previews )

*Glee*

More than any other show this one brings out the *glee* in me. I could go scene by scene and write about the wondrousness of each one in detail. But that's only after I've watched it two or three times. Until then, all I can do is go "OMG that is so adorable" every other scene. And when I'm not doing that I'm reduced to happy flailing incoherencies. There are shows that would appear before this one on my "List of Favorite Shows" but it's really the only one that makes me this ridiculously fangirl. I've decided that I should never watch it around other people for I make a complete and utter fannish fool out of myself.

Is it Tuesday, yet?

This was written for a challenge over at [livejournal.com profile] usaland The vote was over on the 21st, so I think that I can post it here, even if we didn't get the results yet. It's the first/only "Five Times" fic I've written and I think that I almost got it to be a cohesive story. This piece is slightly different than the piece I submitted to that challenge -- and, I hope, better.

Yay for me. It's from a land community I belong to [livejournal.com profile] caperland. I won for writing a short 100 - 250 word fic based on a teaser written for an episode written for a different series. I used Spies are not taught how to deal with aliens. Of the extraterrestrial sort, anyways. which was a teaser written for the "Signals and Codes" episode of burn Notice. I changed 'Spies' to 'FBI Agents" and wrote a White Collar fic.

Diana wasn't going back to DC. Returning to NY to work for Peter Burke would be seen as a step backward, she knew. And she had no idea how she was going to explain it all to Christy.

But she wasn't going back to DC.

She'd earned the promotion that had taken her there. She was primed to move up the FBI career ladder. She knew what she wanted and she was on her way to get it.

But then she stood in the parking garage, facing down Fowler with Peter at her back. And Fowler had them dead to rights and Peter took the shot and damn the consequences. Peter Burke – the straight man, the "Eliot Ness" of the modern day bureau -- was willing to risk everything to do what was right. Was willing to risk everything to save a friend.

That's when she realized that she didn't want "bureau career" any more. She didn't want bureau politics or well-placed promotions. She wanted all that corny stuff people poked fun of Peter for believing in: Truth. Justice. The American Way.

No, Diana wasn't going back to DC. She was going to stay and work with Peter Burke. Superman.

More picspam (this time with words). In honor of "Peter Burke Appreciation Day" (Tim DeKay's birthday) and for [livejournal.com profile] caperland I present:

"I need a little help." The plea came from a tall man with distracting blue eyes. Before Cam could answer, he leaned in and kissed her.

She was about to deck him when she saw the two over-muscled thugs on the other side of the bar. Without knowing why, she spun slightly, putting herself between him and them. The kiss deepened. Cam didn't notice when the thugs left, but he suddenly pulled back, leaving her unexpectedly breathless.

"Thank you." He grinned, tipped his hat and disappeared into the crowd.

Cam shook her head. New York was always full of surprises.

And it's not on tonight. One more hit on a day full of hits (and it's only 10 am). My car is in the shop (again). Still jobless. Bank account not in any shape to handle car repairs. Wil's birthday is tomorrow. Do I have a gift? Do I have money for a gift? No. (See car in shop dilemma.) The list of "Things we need to do" and "Things we can afford to do" is grossly mismatched.

Still. White Collar is love.

I am rewatching "Free Fall". I would say it is my favorite episode of White Collar, but I think that could be true of whatever episode I happen to be watching at the time. This episode, however, makes me want to write drabbles. Many, many drabbles.

I may actually do so, just to get my spirits up.

However, my mom is picking me up in 10 minutes to go shopping in Wausau. She thinks that getting out of the house will be good for my state of mind. She's not far wrong.

I think, however, that I need to do some writing tonight.

I love everything about this show. Every single thing.

I can't coherently express how much I love this show.

I love it so much I want to buy a diary just so I can write its name in it and draw little hearts around it. And I want to do that on every page.
