FREEDOM!

Well, today was my last official day of the school year. The last day with kids was yesterday and today's inservice went remarkably well. Our meeting only lasted thirty minutes. Way cool!

I do have to spend about 5 hours a week doing computer maintenance and stuff like that.

But.... YAY!

Should have just asked my mom to start with....

In the little "Mine Eyes Have Seen The Glory Of The Burning Of the School" it seems I had some words wrong.

My mom taught the "correct" version to my daughter today. (My mom taught me the song, so she should know)

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the burning of the school,
We have tortured all the teachers, we have broken ev'ry rule;
We have fought them in the hallways, we have fought them in the rooms,
Our troops are marching on!

Glory, glory, what's it to ya?
Teacher hit me with a ruler,
I knocked her on the bean, with a rotten tangerine,
And we haven't seen the old goat since!
