Faith...

There are times in my life when I'm not sure of my faith. I have it, I'm just not sure if it's... real.

And then things happen... potentially bad things. Things that could taint, even ruin, lives.

It's then when I turn to my faith and I pray for help through these problems.

And that's when faith, courage, honesty and strength of character take those situations and bring from them an opportunity for growth and forgiveness.

Would it have been better if the situation never would have happened. Without a doubt.

But it did happen and, through faith, it will work out.

It's been a rough day, but it's a good night.

One crisis down. One to go.

Also...

Today I had the opportunity to use the phrase:

"...and the truth will set you free."

And it did.

Hah.

The good thing was no bad things happened from telling the truth.

Actually, bad things never comes from telling the truth. Bad things come from whatever it is the people want to lie about. And it's a fine and blurry distinction that is often overlooked by those who are one the receiving end of the "bad things".

Only today, it was good. All truth, no bad things.

"...and the truth will set you free." Today, it did.
