Amelia Earhart Day. Cool. I've always loved the legend and life of Amelia Earhart.
Marvin the Marian's Birthday. Also cool. I've always like Marvin. I've always liked his large gumball machine full of Minions. I want a gumball machine full of minions.
But the most important event of the day is: my mom's birthday!

As a side note: My daughter is on a crafting spree... only our house seems to be unable to supply almost any of the stuff she needs to be crafty. She did, however, manage to make her own stickers. It's very easy and rather cool: Take two tablespoons of glue and add on tablespoon of white vinegar. Paint it on the back of what ever you want to make into a sticker, allow to dry and presto stickers. To use, just wet and stick. It works great.
Her experiment in making her own lip gloss ... let's just say that the red kool-ade stain will get out of my counter top.
