Strange attractions...
Oct. 16th, 2004 12:09 amI was watching Stargate Atlantis tonight. Not having been addicted earlier this year, I missed it on the first time around and thought I'd catch up on the repeats.
I have one question:
Is it wrong of me to love Rodney McKay as much as I do? I totally, completely and unconditionally love that man. He's just so... so... well, whatever he is, he's it. And I'm in love with the character. If only i could be that snarky in real life and not, you know, alienate all those I need to work with. It probably helps to be totally indispensable. A quality I lack. Still... the dream is there.
Actually, if only they would somehow change Weir into a character that I could watching without wanting to kill, everything would be fine. I don't know why, but I hate the character, she grates on my nerves. For someone who was supposedly a diplomat, she's extremely, I don't know-- condescending, arrogant, self-righteous and completely annoying. As you can see... I don't like her much. Fortunately, she's not in it much.
All the other characters make up for her, though.
