No one says "Damn it" better than Jack Bauer.

I love characters that have a well defined sense of self. Character's that know what they believe and stick to that belief no matter what. There's a song out called "That's cool" that I really like. The chorus goes:

Knowin’ where you’re goin’, embracin’ where you’ve been.
Bein' criticized for standin’ strong in a battle you can’t win.
Livin’ in a moment you may never see again.
Let your heart break some rules:
Now that’s cool.
That's cool.
Yeah, that's cool.
Oh yeah.

I love the line Bein' criticized for standin’ strong in a battle you can’t win. And I love characters that are willing to do that.

It's a defining moment of courage, to stand up and live your beliefs. To have a strong enough sense of self to stand on your own, and live with your choices. I seek out characters that can do that.

Which, unfortunately, says a lot about me.
