I'm sure you know this already, but I thought I'd mention it anyhow.

My daughter is cool...

Myr just looked up the poem Gunga Din, read it through and memorized the last lines because in MASH Hawkeye quotes it and she wanted to know what the whole thing was about.

I love that she does things like that. I know that she doesn't understand everything behind the poem, but she understood enough of it. She'll get the rest when she learns about the social situations the poem addresses. Meanwhile, I'm thrilled that she thinks the poems is good enough to look up and memorize.
