House Keeping, Internet Syle

I've posted a couple of fics at ff.net and I've gotten a few comments on them. I've replied to a few of them, but mostly I've read them and filed them away to deal with later.

Hah. Finally, I have dealt with them. Surprisingly, I had quite a few of them. It was nice. I said 'thank you' and appologized for the late response and all.

So, I'm good.

Now if only I could do real life house keeping. Nah. That can wait. *grin*

Drabble: SG1

Thought I should write something.

This is another Sam drabble. Scary, I know.





Risk

"You were worth the risk."

Pete's words float through Sam's memory, an echo that becomes an accusation.

She'd told him about her dream house: two stories, a yellow kitchen, a dog in the backyard.

And he'd wanted to give her that dream.

A dream that was only pretend.

He'd suspected, but forged ahead anyway.

"You were worth the risk."

She knows what risk is. She's flown combat in the Gulf. She's been in hundreds of firefights. She has more combat hours than most decorated war heroes.

She risks her life ever day.

Her heart is an altogether different matter.
