Odd associations...
Jan. 28th, 2007 01:02 pmRight now the song Lizzie and the Rain Man by Tanya Tucker is playing. I love the song.
It makes me think of the Quantum Leap episode where Sam leapt into a Rain Man who was working his old home town. And in the episode Al makes the comment, when they put out a huge town feast, that he hadn't seen such a spread of food since the "Cholesterol Act" was passed.
At the time, I remember thinking how ridiculous the thought was, that the government would Big Bother what we could or could not eat. Of course that was before New York actually started doing so.
I can't tell you how glad I am I live where I do.
Still. I love the song.
