We picked up ticket #123 when we arrived at B&N at seven. We had our books in hand by 12:25. Life is good.
Myr read Chapter 1 and part of 2 on the way home.
Now, however, we have to finish watching Evolution (which we started before we left) and then will go to bed. This is because we need to get up in the AM so that S (Myr's friend who went on the HP excursion with us) can get to the fair to show her rabbit.
We will be able to start reading again sometime after that. There is some house cleaning and weeding that needs to be done. I do have the weekend to read it, but...
That's fine. The book is mine. I can read at my leisure. Savor it slowly. It's not going to go bad. The story's not going to change. I don't have to return it. Mind you, I do plan on spending most of the weekend reading...
