Meme Lemming: Five questions (again)

Five questions from goddess_loki

1 - What is your favorite quote? This is a hard one, because favorite quotes vary from situation to situation. I have one line I use as my email sig – “You are what you believe” – but that’s not an attributable quote. So, I think I'll go with a line from Millennium: "When you believe in nothing, everything is acceptable."

2 - What color are your bedroom walls? Blue. But all the says about me is that I live in an apartment and can't repaint the walls. If it were up to me, I'd have them be off-white because it makes for a clean, open room. I tend to decorate with accessories and off-white is the best for that.

3 - If you could give $1,000 dollars to any two charities of your choice, which would you choose and how much would you give each? I'd give $750 to my town's food pantry because the cold weather is coming and the high price of gas and heat will put the crunch on people. I’d also donate $250 to my church for local relief use.

4 - What was your first fandom? Blake's 7. That was years before the internet, back when fandom was very different. We watched 10th generation tapes that were so bad we couldn't even tell that they switched actors for one of the characters in the middle of the show. It’s still a great show, even if I don’t participate in the fandom anymore.

5 - If you could cure one life threatening disease, which one would you cure and why? Cancer. Purely selfish reasons, but it is a very far reaching disease and it would be the the one I would choose.
