Merry Christmas Eve Day!
Dec. 24th, 2008 12:41 pmI'm home for just a bit. We had traditional Christmas Eve breakfast at my Aunt Barb's place (my mom's only sibling), then we all exchanged gifts with that side of the family. It was a remarkably beautiful Christmas Eve morning with the snow falling in huge picturesque flakes. We got about 3 inches of snow, covering everything in the traditional blanket of snow.
I'm heading out to my folk's place to help her get ready for her Christmas party out there tomorrow. Tonight there is Church and then we could go out to my Aunt Bonnie's place (my dad's only sister). I don't know what we're going to do, though. Wil works until 6 or 7. I'm not feeling too tip top. We could just stay home and go to the midnight service, which will let Wil go with us.
It's still snowing, too, so I'm not sure how the roads will be.
But I don't have to know.
Life is best lived in the moment and freedom is being flexible.
On that thought:
Have a very happy holiday!
