Yeah, I'm really glad the election is today. My fear is that tomorrow everyone is going to start campaigning again. You see, what the pundits are going to say is that [insert party/candidate that lost here] didn't start early enough, didn't get their message out to the people soon enough, that the average citizens out there are foolishly not paying attention to what is really best for them and that it's only through massive media propaganda that [insert party/candidate that lost here] will be able to win the next election.
I hope I'm wrong. But I don't think so. No one loses quite as poorly as political candidates.

Burn Notice!
Nov. 2nd, 2010 03:34 pmIn the good news department: Burn Notice returns next Thursday! Woo-hoo.
In honor of that, I give to you this truly awesome promo for the show. I would love to see a "how they done it" for this piece. It rocks. I just love how cool Michael is. With Burn Notice coming back in a week, there will actually be a third show that I will watch in real time (or close to real time). The other two are Supernatural (my choice) and Glee (Myr's choice). Everything else gets DVRed and saved for later.
And if you go here you can get a sneak peek at Thursday's new ep. It only cost sitting though an ad or two and it's got wonderful Michael goodness in it. I love how concerned Maddie is and how she wants to know when it's going to stop... right before trouble pops up and Michael walks toward it. It's tough being the one who waits at home.
