It's just like me to post about wanting to post more, then disappear entirely for a week or more.
I'm swamped right now and suffering from a really bad case of writer's insecurity and it probably doesn't help that on my list of things to do LJ invariably is put far enough down that I don't even get to reading my friends list. It doesn't help that I second guess and edit to death every word I write (including these) until I just decide it will be easier to not write anything. And I have so much to do at work that I'm dragging it home with me and whenever I sit at the computer and do anything other than that work I feel guilty so I tend not to do anything on the computer.
Avoidance, thy name is Partly.
I've decided to take a large heavy object this weekend and beat my muse into submission and get back to writing. That and clean house, do grades, make a hobbit costume for Myr, finish my grades, help my Mom with some computer problems, make the "stuff holders" for my classroom, write up a couple lesson plans and organize the bills that I've been ignoring.
No problem.
