I was about ready to give up on this show. The characters, I love. The dialogue, snappy, sharp, good.
I have a big BIG problem with the overwhelmingly obvious "Look! Here's a secret, we're going to dance all around it, but never say anything (even if it would be logical to do so) just to keep the views in the dark" plotting.
However, tonight's episode rocked.
It answered all the nitpicks I had:
Why didn't someone think about a power source that will last 16 years?
What about all the dead bodies that will be getting very, very icky in the hot, hot sun?
What about food?
And Locke? I loved him when he was a silent enigma on the beach... he totally rules now.
It was a FUN episode. I'll keep watching it.
