partly: (Fanfic)
Do you remember the fic that I finished and then kept editing? Well, I'm done and it's posted.

That's right, something I wrote is actually up on the web for all to read. I really don't do that too often.

If you want to read it, it's here, at the Jackfic archive. I may put it elsewhere eventually, but for now I'm just keeping it there.

It is fanfic and all based on the Stargate characters and universe, so it has a limited appeal, I suppose. On the other hand, I think it's a fairly good action/adventure piece, even if based on other people's characters. If you have no idea what the show is, you might be a bit lost, mind. I'd be glad to give you the low down if you want to read it anyhow... *grin*

If I've sent you a copy of this fic to read or beta: get rid of the old version. This one is spiffier. And more error free. And better. Really.

If you want a text/printable version, and rtf.doc version is provided here. You know, if you have nothing else to do with 131 pages of paper. But heck, I'm all for keeping the paper companies in business.

So. Much happiness.

Hey, Partly :D

I am here at Lynette's house and she has been raving about your fic since she read it yesterday. She loved it and has saved it in her fic folder for future re-reading (doesn't do that very often).

I haven't read it, however, I will when I get home next week so I can print it out.

In the meantime, I will listen to Lynette who continues to rave about it, cos apparently it is a fantastic fic :D

Nutty
(as sunburnt as Lynette...frelling sun :D)

Congrats love, you have accomplished what I can't. You finished something! You should hear my applause:)

*grin* Thanks!

Read it anytime. I'm impressed that you are going to print it out. Hey! I'll be in print!

Sunburnt, huh? The sun shone all day here, too. However, it didn't give above 13(f) -- that's -10.6(c) to most of the world. No danger of sunburn. But that's fine because I love winter.

Enjoy the vacation!

Applause gladly accepted.

I would be satisfied except so many other things are yet undone.

However, this piece is only about 30,000 words shorter than the young adult novel that I'm attempting to write.

I know now that I can do it.

I just have to do it.
