Until 6.05, I basically thought something like this was what happened, that Sam was still Sam. I can understand why Sam is more detached now -- it's depressing in a way but still makes a lot of sense for everything that has happened to him. The only problem is his smile when he saw Dean get turned. What is your theory about that? Because that was emotion, and not the kind I was expecting from him. Now I'm not so sure about Sam being all Sam.
