Running off...
Aug. 8th, 2004 11:01 pmI want to get back to the Thoughts on the Day posts because they allow me to post small snippets without my usual obsession on rewriting and rewriting and rewriting.
But I was so out of it with the flu-thingy that I couldn't even open the computer and yesterday and today were busy with packing and cleaning and helping my mom and washing clothes and doing dishes and shopping... Plus I really needed to finish the Kommando Kid script.
I got quiet a bit of it done and will try to work on it before I leave in the morning.
But last night I was up all night helping Wil finish his artwork (OK I just stayed up doing techy computer stuff while he slept so that he could drive to Minneapolis without falling asleep at the wheel). I hit the hay around six and was up at nine-ish... not enough sleep for me.
I will be MIA for a week. I may be back next Monday.
But I will be having fun. We're doing basic tour the countryside stuff on the way down to Missouri -- I plan on visiting Hannibal and seeing all the Mark Twain stuff. By Thursday or Friday we will be at the convention and doing all sorts of Mountain Man/Trapping stuff.
I'm not thinking beyond that point because I have way too much to do and very little time to do it in.
