Oh yeah..

Not a good day at the Kludy household.

We had to have our dog put down today. He hasn't been well lately and this morning he started having seizures...

I've never been one to keep an animal around simply because it will make me feel better. All he's been doing the past week is sleep. And his allergies and sores were coming back. He'd hardly eaten anything. Not good. And now, seizures. So not good.

So.

Myr is handling it very well. We buried him out at my folks place, where I've buried quite a few of my pets.

*Sigh*

Such is life.

It just came to my attention:

Actual political rant inside: inspired by truly annoying ads on TV, insane and arrogant claims by the candidates and their supporters, and my own depressive mood.

I believe:

1. There is a difference between coincidental statistics and cause and effect.
2. It is possible for my candidate to lose without having the other side cheat.
3. No matter how strongly I feel, it doesn't make me right.
4. Even if I arrogantly believe that my beliefs are the only right, just and sane beliefs, no one else has to agree with me.
5. If others don't agree with me, I do not have the right to pout and insist that they did it only because they are too stupid to know better.
6. The world (or even the USA) will not end if my candidate isn't elected.
