After a winter of no snow, we finally got some.

And with the snow came a snow day.

Yay me and the kid. Not so yay husband who has to drive through snow and freezing rain (the real reason for the school closing) in order to get to work.

Still -- I can take all day to shovel!

Going back to sleep now.

Yep. I love snow days.

I miss snow days. We haven't really had many since I moved down here. I think that's something to do with that "south" word. Today isn't even freezing, but we've had some lovely rain. *sigh*
