While at GenCon we picked up several things for Myr: an autograph of Sean Astin, to large purple dice and a poster of Legalos.

The poster is a tall, marquee type poster just over 5ft tall that has Legolas standing aiming his bow directly out at... well, who ever is looking at the poster. I put it on her door and now get to look at Legolas all the time since her bedroom door is right next to my desk and off the front-room.

Now as I'm sending her to bed tonight, she stops, goes up on tip-toe and puts her face right up next the Legolas'. I stare at her a moment, then say (not really believing what I just saw): "Did you just kiss him?"

"Ew," she goes, "NO! That's gross."

Now, as relieved as I was that she still thinks kissing boys is gross, I was still confused. "Then what did you do?"

"I told him a secret."

Anyone know how to get a poster to talk? I'd really like to know what secrets she's telling him. And you know, I don't think I'm going to handle this whole her-growing-up thing very well at all. Is it wrong of me to want her to think kissing boys is gross all the way until she's, I don't know, 20 or so?
