We bought a new car. A 1999 Saturn SL2. (So Robin when you come up, you can park your black "satan" next to our gold one.) No more having to walk/bike to work, school and all around town and Wil will have a good, reliable car that gets good gas mileage to drive to Wausau every day.
I was all in knots looking for, talking about, arraigning the details, and what not, but I'm very happy with our purchase and choice. Our other car, the only one we were using, has 160.000 miles on it and, as is evident by my LJ, is giving us fits most of the time. With this new car, the old one will only have to drive me to work and to the folks once in a while, which will mean I won't hardly put any miles on it at all. Good for us.
The first road trip with the new one will be over Labor Day when we head down to Madison.
