I was four in 1969, but I remember watching the moonlanding. We sat in my grandparents livingroom (a place where we were rarely allowed to go) and watched it on their big black and white TV. I can see it all so clearly. It was wonderful. I thank my parents and grandparents for being interested in it and for sharing that interest with me.
The University of Wisconsin's Food Science department has a whole course on ice cream making where the students have to come up with their own flavors. They sell the ice cream at Babcock Hall, or you can buy it online here or here.
