I have much love for Daniel Jackson.

This has not always been. There was a time when I found him to be constantly annoying -- whining all the time, never ready to do what had to be done.

But you know, ever since he died... I like him so much. I really think that a lot of it has to do with being without Jack O'Niell. I mean, when Jack's around, Daniel can be all the touchy-feely without having to worry about survival because Jack would take care of it.

Without Jack, Daniel actually has to make the hard decisions and do the hard choice. It makes him a much stronger character. Yup... ever since he died, he's been much better. Now that he's dead again, when he comes back he should be really good.

I do not fear so much for the next season of SG1.

I dont normally watch SG1, But I did know Daniel was.. differant. I did see the last episode which was very interesting. I just didn't know what exactly happened to Daniel and what he became. Is this now a common occurance now for him to die and come back to life in some way?

Well, it's fairly common for the main characters to die and come back. It's just Daniel managed to stay dead for a whole season. BUt not really dead, he was 'ascended'. When he got kicked out of the ascended club, he came back a better person.

He's not dead now, either. Since they didn't really conclude the ascended storyline, they are going to work on that next week. Jack is going to be leaving the show, Daniel is too important to lose right now.

Besides, I've just begun to love him.
