I am shallow. I crave justification from complete strangers and I am unreasonably happy when they acknowledge that I said things that made sense.
I am still obsessing over 24, but in an effort to expand my horizons, I am watching Millennium. Not sure it is a good move.
I totally don't get the new trend of icons to be so faded and washed out that you can barely make out what the picture is. Is it considered more 'artistic' if you can't really see what the subject is? And what's this about putting lyrics on the icons so small or so faded that you can't read them? I'm not up on all the 'cool' lyrics, so I really don't have a clue as to what they are if I can't read them. But what do I know?
We had practice today for our Praise Team Easter Sunday program. Now I can't sing. Just ask
finabair, I'm sure she'll be happy to provide details in my inability to be musical. But we do well and I love doing the sunrise service. So it will be good. Even if I'm not.
I'm watching Law and Order: SVU. In it they needed to put one of the characters in a witness protection program so they moved her to Wisconsin (where it was too quiet). Hee. Love it. I love when people use Wisconsin like that. I love when they want to establish that a character is good hearted and generous but a little naive so they have them come from Wisconsin. Of course, X-Files had a lot of UFO sighting here, too, so there is that. I love Wisconsin.
I find that there is a fundamental difference between people who live in big cities and people who don't. I'll have to think about it in order to make a better comment on it, but there's a certain lack of understanding about the community and the amount of knowledge everyone has about everyone else. I'm not sure if you can understand what it's like to come from a small community unless you've actually lived in one. It's true that big cities and small towns have the same problems: unemployment, abuses, poverty. But being poor in a small town is so different than being poor in a big city. And being poor in the country... well, that's a whole different world, too. Not sure what my point it, but it's something to think about.
I'm officially tired of snow. I know that it well melt soon. Even more than that, I want it to be warmer. I want spring, damn it.
Ok. I should eat. I didn't eat yet. Need to do that.
Oh, wait: You all need to go here and watch the Sawyer song. It is wonderful.
