My thoughts while watching Babylon.

Teal'c doesn't have his staff weapon! But it's a hell of a nice gun. And Daniel has graduated to carrying a P90? I knew I liked the new DeadDaniel! He's still kinda of casual with the gun, but it's all good.

Hmm... this place reminds me of Brigadoon -- you know, only appears once every 100 years. Don't think Mitchell is going to fall in love anytime soon, though. Actually, I'm looking forward to Mitchell becoming more of a kick ass warrior, as it will make a nice distinction from O'Neill. OK... it looks a lot like The Last Samurai, too. I wonder if they will have him be accepted or will he just escape? My thought is that, if these guys aren't on the side of Garek, they would be good to have as allies.

Why voluntarily work for the armed forces if you dislike it so much?

You know, I really like this guy -- . Lord Haikon. Love his voice. Tony Todd... Should have known that. He played an old Jake Sisko on DS9 in one of my favorite episodes. I like the strong Jaffa characters they have. They are all much alike and yet they are managing to give each one a different personality.

It's definitely Samurai, here. Which is great, 'cuz I love that movie. And I really hope that they keep Mitchell here long enough to learn the fight.

An Ori. That is bad. They worship the Ancients... will they be smart enough to know that the Ori are not them? I'll be interested in knowing how Mitchell counters the sales pitch of the Ori. I really hope they let him do it, too, and not just bring in Daniel. 'Cuz, you know, Daniel just don't do a good job of it.

"A bad of sand with a hole in it is not an accurate timing device", heh. Love that. Along with "You are an evil man". Ok. I officially *love* Mitchell. This is not something that you could have done with O'Neill. I'm glad they are able to do slightly different things with the character.

Oh... they've really cut back on the ability of SGC to search for

YAY! The decent argument of faith! Don't follow them because they have power, follow them because they are good. The 'don't suffer for faith', is good, the 'don't follow evil' is better. Know your faith, and follow those who match your faith, not just those who have power. "Their power is not what you should question, what they do with it is." That is always the question to ask.

"If a Prior visits your world: leave." Love that. I still hope they find a way to counter the effects/powers of the Ori. If they don't I can't see how they would manage to keep Earth off the "DOA" list.

I knew he was the brother. Predictable twist... but not necessarily a bad one. It does follow the traditions that the Sodan. It puts more pressure on Mitchell and ... they both seem to genuinely like each other.

He's drugged. Nice. It always pays to impress the guy who's supposed to kill you. He was in on it. That's a nice touch, and that was unexpected. "Well done, Bones." Much love.

This is a nice ending. Not too pat. Not to depressing. Totally and completely love the Samurai element. I really hope they revisit the Sodan. I want one of the two brothers back, and it really wouldn't matter which on it is.
