That everyone is gone from the tech department except me, the lowly temp.

That is just wrong.

I can't seem to get any of the the computers to do what I want them to do, either. Well, I can, it's just a lot harder that I want it to be.

The sad part is I really love what I'm doing in this temp job and I just don't see it being any more than a temp. Drat.

This whole "living on faith" thing is hard. I believe it will work out, I really do. There's something out there and I will get to it, but... *gah*

And I can't even cut out early because I'm just temp.

I'm throwing a pity-party. I have the whine, someone needs to bring the cheese.

Today was terrible. I was forced to WORK instead of what I WANTED to be doing, and my timing was off so I didn't even manage to take a slight *break* to do what I wanted to be doing.

...but I did get some really big grins from various people, and I don't think it was just 'cuz of the 600 frisbees that were delivered to me today. ;-)

LOL. You have a good point. There are two cheese factories within just a couple of miles of me. When I was growing up we used to have one in town. Used to watch them make the cheese -- and the fresh curds were so good.

It's not your fault, I'm not exactly forthcoming with information.

I'm working for the Merrill School District as a temp in there computer department. I worked for them last fall for a couple of months and they called me back in May to work a while again.

I really like the people I work with and the job is good. I just don't think its going to branch out into anything permanent.

Thinking about it too much tends to depress me, so I'm trying not to want it too much.

Besides, everyone has been through this sort of thing. No need for me to whine (too much) about it.

I love, adore, and want to have your icon's babies... if you don't think that makes me *too* weird. *grin* If it does, then leave it at, I love and adore your icon! I wouldn't want to be in the same century as Kerr Avon, but he was so much fun to watch!

I need to share in the icon love fest, then, because any icon with Mickey and McCall is well worth lusting after.

I so love that episode where Mickey's inconspicuous diversion is spilling a cartload of bowling balls down the hospital hallway. *grin* I love that show.

Heh, thanks. :) I asked an online friend of mine to make it, after I sent her the vidcap.

So do I. I also love the first scene with McCall picking up Mickey at the small airport or whatever, smaller planes around, anyway. Just the contrast between what Mickey's saying, and how he looks (all clean and relaxed and hapy) was hilarious. I love the rapport between Mickey and Robert.
