There are way too many Jacks in the fandoms I like. It makes cross-overs nigh on impossible.
It may rain again. It certainly feels like rain. I'm greedy; I'd like more rain.
I can't read most mini-Jack stories but I can't ready any mini-OTP stories. I can't read any "Carter is the most popular, most beautiful cheerleader/prom-queen" stories I can take. Even worse is the "Carter never went to the prom/was a cheerleader/dated the quarterback and now she can!" stories. It's possible to never have gone to the prom and not to care about it. I don't see Carter as the "OMG I need to live the perfect teenage princess dream" type. *gah*
I have a vague idea on what to write for my Carter-fic. Yay for idea, boo for vague. I need to make it more specific and shorter I think. I don't want it to be over 6000 words, so I think I need to have a very firm idea in mine. My goal: Have that firm idea on paper by the end of the week end. Theme, plot sketch, opening and closing beats.
I love the word potpourri. Proof of that is that I know how to spell potpourri.
And it is raining. Yes, I am bragging. RAIN!
