The artist:
Myr was accepted into accelerated art program at school without having to apply. She was selected to be part of a grant writing project. She and three other "student leaders" will spend a day in Rhinelander with a grant writing expert where they will write a grant proposal for the accelerated art program at her school. Taking part in this will take the place of her application portfolio.
Cool.
The philosopher:
"Freedom with out honor is chaos". That may be my next favorite saying.
The fan:
We are watching last weeks Stargate Atlantis. Rodney is working and Weir comes to him and says "Carter needs your help". He looks at her and goes, "With what?", to which Weir replies "Your sister." Rodney looks crestfallen. I say "Of all the things Rodney thought that Carter would need his help with, his sister is low on the list."
"Yeah," she goes, "number one would be washing her back, or helping her towel off..."
*snort*
So many reasons I love her.
