Alright. The Giants played well and they have good fans. I will have no problem cheering for them in the super bowl.

But I wanted the Pack to win.

It reminds me of an old Dork Tower comic. In it the main character thinks:

Well, the game is over and the Packers had a much better season than the start of the year would have indicated. The other team played well, too, and the game was exciting, frankly. The Packers got further in the playoffs than we really had any right to expect. All in all, I have to be pleased with how the season turned out.

There is a pause and then:

Oh, it's all a LIE! It's nothing but Pain. Pain. Pain. Unbearable, unendurable pain.

Still.

It's good to be a Packer fan.

As one of my fellow fans said:

This game makes me think of a line from Rudolf the Rednosed Reindeer.... one of the misfit toys says "I am just going to go to sleep and start dreaming about next year".

*hugs* It was a good game. I mean, there is no shame in losing in overtime (IMO). I wanted the Pack to win, too, but I agree that the Giants are cheer-for-able.
