Holiday!

Back from vacation!

I realize that most people post they are going on a vacation before they leave, but I just didn't have time. I've been posting so seldom, you probably didn't miss me! I had planned on making voice posts, but I left the number at home, so that didn't happen either.

Went down to the Omaha Zoo then up to the Black Hills and Badlands. Had an absolutely wonderful time. Saw buffalo and burros and deer and pronghorns -- and that was all after the zoo! Went to Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore. Drove a lot and walked a bit. Took pictures that I plan on sharing.

Life is good.

I love the Black Hills... all the history and beauty that is out there. I'm a sucker for the whole western/cowboy/Indian mythology anyhow. Wil had never been out that way and he didn't realize how much there is to see and do. Now we're planning a return trip.

I couldn't figure a way to make it fit into my week's vacation! I thought of you when we passed Murdo, though.
