Before I start, I have to admit that I don’t usually play these meme’s because I don’t like the questions. You see, I’m not a shipper and any questions on who would date who or who’d sleep with who, just bore me. Second, I don’t like questions that ask me to kill off a character I love. So, in order to play (and have fun), I changed the ones I don’t like. The ones with *** are new. Feel free to play with the new questions, if you like. Just name your six favorite shows, then answer the questions. Don't choose shows based on the questions.
1) CSI:NY
2) Man From UNCLE (YAY for DVDs)
3) 24 (Back in two weeks!)
4) Bones
5) Criminal Minds
6) Eleventh Hour
(As you can see, Wednesday is my favorite.)
01) Who is your favorite character from #2? Illya Nickovetch Kuryakin. I love the little blond Russian. Things I love about him: his accent, his penchant for getting wet, the way he says everything with a little smirk – as if the world is one giant joke and he’s in on it. I also love the fact that Illya is always used as the “bad cop” or the “heavy” when it’s totally against type.
***02) If all the main characters from #4 were playing Boggle, who would win? Ah… Boggle at the Jeffersonian! First of all, Booth wouldn’t play – there’s no way he’d consider himself equal to the ‘squints’ when it comes to “brain” games. Cam wouldn’t play either – she hates to lose too much to join a game where there’s a good chance she could lose. Angela would want to play and Hodges would play because she does. In the end though, the game would come down to Bones and Sweets. I’d have to give the nod to Bones because she is more methodical, and Sweets would be too distracted by how the team interacts.
03) What would a crossover between #1 and #5 include? Serial killers. At least two of them, just so there’s enough for everyone to do. However, I don’t see the teams getting along at all, at first. Mac and Hotch would definitely be at odds. Mac slightly hostile, Hotch trying to be diplomatic, but still thinking that CSIs have no business running a case. I think Hotch would also have a big problem with Mac’s tendency to go off-book. Morgan needs to work with Flack and Danny, although I see Morgan not trusting Danny at all. Prentiss and Stella would be a formidable team – once they bond over their mutual toughness. JJ and Lindsey would be the key to helping the teams work together. They have a great deal in common (pregnancy, involved with cops, former small town/country girls) and have the smallest egos. Not everyone would be hostile, though. I see Reid and Hawkes getting along fabulously and I think Garcia and Adam have met in online forums, although I’m not sure how well they’d get along
***04) Which character from #6 would be most fun dealing with a clone? What I like about this is that in Eleventh Hour, a clone may actually be a plot possibility. And it would be Jacob Hood. Besides I would love to see Rachel dealing with the possibility that Hood has been cloned. Hood’s clone would, of course, sacrifice himself to save the world and I’d love to see how Hood (the original) dealt with that. Or the clone could be sequestered away somewhere… that also would be fun to deal with.
***05) If you were to set one person from #3 and one person from #6 on next to each other on a flight to Australia, who would they be and what would their conversations be like? Jack Bauer and Rachel Young, because Hood and Jack would never talk. I think Rachel would know of Jack and recognize him, even if she wouldn’t be sure what to think of him. I also think that Rachel would be working on a case during the flight and it would catch Jack’s attention. It would be a very interesting conversation that would start out about the case but end up on other things. (There is the possibility a whole fic in here about what happens in Australia, but I’m not going there.) I think they would both recognize the impossibilities of their positions and respect each other even if they don’t see eye to eye.
***06)Pick two characters from #1, which of the other numbered shows would they most likely to watch? Mac and Adam (just to be random). Mac would be a solid Man from UNCLE viewer – it would have been a show he would have grown up with and has all the wonderful “good v evil” and “cops and robbers” elements he would like. It’s also where he got his love of gadgets from, which explains why he has so many in the lab. Adam would watch Eleventh Hour. Despite the science errors, he would like how it tries to make “science fiction” problems fit into known science. And I think he’d really like Rachel.
***07) Who would win if the characters from #2 had a snowball fight? . Illya. He grew up with Russian winters. Napoleon would be afraid to get his suit messed up and would be easily distracted by the pretty girls who would be watching. Besides, I always want Illya to win.
***08) Explain a relationship between two people (*not* romantic) from show #5 and why you like the relationship between them. I adore the relationship between Morgan and Garcia – and that is a *non*-romantic relationship. Garcia is Morgan’s reality check, the person who always talks to him and keeps him from falling into the darkness he chases. Morgan is Garcia’s knight, someone who represents all that is good and noble in the world and is a physical barrier between her and the darkness she chases. They actually save each other and keep each other sane.
***09) If both series #1 and #3 had bowling teams and they compete against each other, who would play, who would win and what would the game be like? CSI:NY and 24? There aren’t enough surviving cast members from 24 to *make* a bowling team! Let’s see – 24’s team would be Jack, Chloe, Buchanan and Tony (even though he’s dead until this upcoming season). For NY – Mac (because he’s my favorite), Stella, Flack and Sid (Sid is definitely the one who set the team up). I’m tempted to say that they would never manage to get a game in because their jobs would interrupt them, but that would be cheating. So I think that it would be competitive but friendly game with the stakes being beer and not money. The best bowlers would be Buchanan, Flack and Sid. In the end, though, I think the CSI:NY team would win because neither Jack nor Chloe are very good. The best part would be when Flack tries to give Chloe bowling lessons.
***10) If the main characters of #4 went fishing, would they be most likely to use lures, tie their own flies, or just use a worm? Angela wouldn’t fish. Hodges would quote fatalities in boat accidents and stay on shore with Angela (I love Hodges, but he has a problem). Cam wouldn’t even be at the lake. Bones would tie her own flies and be very good at it. Booth would use worms and hope that he didn’t catch anything, half the time not even baiting his hook. Sweets, poor Sweets, would be forever tangling his lines and getting his, expensive and inappropriate, lures caught in the weeds.
11) If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline of #6, what would the character be like, and what would their role be? I would add an investigative reporter, along the lines of Jack McGee from “The Incredible Hulk”, only female. She’d be following Hood and Rachel around and turning all their cases into headlines for “The National News Weekly”. She wouldn’t be female to add a romantic interest, but rather I think the show could be able to handle another strong female character and I love Rachel.
12) What happens in your favorite episode of show #2? The episode in which Col. Klink is trying to disrupt peaceful relations between East and West and Napoleon and Illya enlist the help of Capt Kirk in order to stop them. Spock almost disrupts their plan, but in the end UNCLE and Kirk prevail! (Honest, that is a real episode! Even if character names -- but not actors -- may have been different.)
***13) If you were a writer and had to reduce cast of series #4 by one, who would you pick and how would they go?" I would get rid of Angela. She would go off and do something artistic, leaving the Jeffersonian to move on. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy Angela as a character, but lately everything she does ticks me off and she has no idea the pain she is causing – or, worse yet, doesn’t care.
***14) If any two characters for #3 and #5 would start a business, who would they be and what line of work would they be in? Chloe and Garcia. They would run an internet security/investigative business. They would focus on exposing criminal businesses/con artists. They would have a special interest in people who prey on children and women with kids.
***15)Chose one character from each series to be at an amusement park, who would they be, what park would they be at and what ride would they be in line for when they meet? Stella, Illya, Jack, Bones, Reid and Rachel. They would all be in Chicago at Great America and they would all be in line to ride The American Eagle -- the highest (drop height), fastest, and longest wooden racing roller coaster ever built.
