Pick your five favorite TV shows (in no particular order) and answer the following questions. Don't cheat!
1 – Leverage
2 – CSI:NY
3 – In Plain Sight
4 – Burn Notice
5 – Criminal Minds
1. Who's your favorite character in 2? Mac Taylor. I adore Stella but Mac is my favorite.
2. Who's your least favorite character in 1? Sophie. It’s unusual that I have a least favorite character, but Sophie is one of them. I will say that I like her much better this season and I see signs of potential growth, so I may soon not have a least favorite character in the show.
3. What's your favorite episode of 4? “Do No Harm” – the episode right after Michael almost blows up where he proves that his most base of instincts is to help people. It also shows how wonderfully focused Michael can be.
4. What's your favorite season of 5? One was the milestone, but I like 5 or 7 best.
5. Who is your favorite ship in 3? I don’t ship. I know I say that a lot, but it bears repeating. I can’t, no matter what I think Marshal feels, ship Mary and Marshal. I can’t. The relationship is much too unequal. Having them get together in a "happy-ever-after" ship would destroy the characters. The show may be able to do it eventually but it would invalidate the characters at this point. This is why I’m not a shipper.
6. Who is your anti-ship in 2? I don’t anti-ship either. Yes. I’m weird that way.
7. How long have you watched 1? Since it aired. Which isn’t long since it’s only in it’s 2nd season.
8. How did you become interested in 3?
finabair Although she may have gotten into because of me. Long story.
9. Who's your favorite actor/actress in 4? Jeffery Donovan. Although I like Bruce Campbell in a lot of things. In all honestly though, I’m not really an “actor” person. Michael is my favorite character so Jeffery is my favorite actor.
10. Which do you prefer, show 1, 2 or 5? I like all the shows – I honestly don’t have an overall preference of one over the others. I will put in the caveat: 24 is hard to watch in a one episode at random. And Myr is less likely to watch it. So despite my non-preference, 24 would be the least likely popped in at random.
11. Which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3? Leverage. That will change once I get a chance to catch up on the second season of In Plain Sight, then it will be IPS only because it has aired more episodes.
12. If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be? Sam. He is by far the most normal and the least likely to be shot, maimed, murdered or kidnapped (unless he's helping out Michael). He also gets to drink a lot of Mojitos and gets to drive cool cars. Besides – “Smooth is smooth, baby”.
13. How would you kill off your favorite character in 1? I wouldn’t. Besides, I can’t decide who my favorite character is, ad I’m not going to decide how to kill off the entire Leverage team. (I find it interesting that I got to choose both my least favorite and favorite character from Leverage.)
14. Give a random quote from 1 (And a quote? We love #1). “She’s 20 pounds of crazy in a 5 pound bag.” -- Eliot about Parker.
15. The Leverage team was here – Parker could have broken in and stolen it, Hardison could have hacked in and deleted it, Sophie could have conned it into leaving, or Eliot could have frightened it into running away. Only Nate knows for sure.
16. Would a 3/4 crossover work? Yes. In fact, a scene is already written. It’s Marshal, tied to a chair talking to Fiona who is keeping an eye on him. And then all hell breaks loose because you have Mary looking for a kidnapped Marshal and Michael and company going after a witness that Mary and Marshal are protecting. (Wow. That’s a lot of 'M's.)
17.Pair 2 characters in 1 that would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple. Does anyone else sense an obsession with the #1? It gets 2 or 3 more questions than any other number. I’m going to fix that by changing this question entirely. That gives show #1 only one more question than the others. Plus it eliminates a shipper question. Have the main characters from #2 and #5 meet in a casual situation. Would they get along? Jack Bauer and Mac Taylor. Good grief. Yes they would get along. Hell, they would probably find a great deal to talk about and end up drinking buddies.
18. Has 5 inspired you in any way? Yes, it has. And since #5 is 24, that should frighten you. *grin*
19. Overall, which show has a better cast, 2 or 4? Burn Notice. I would say that it was due to the fact that Burn Notice has a smaller cast, but I adore all the casting choices in Burn Notice. Burn Notice never hits a wrong note in casting.
20. Which has better theme music, 3 or 5? 24. Sean Callery rocks. I own both of the 24 soundtracks that have been released and I’m waiting for them to release a third one. I can’t say as I’ve paid any attention to the theme music on In Plain Sight (although I do like it's opening credits).
