- Tue, 17:11: Is it because we're Americans that we tend to believe that the "revolters" always win in a "revolution"? I don't think that's usually true.
- Tue, 23:35: I hate it when people put quotes around words to imply that they mean the OPPOSITE of what the word really is. It's annoying, not clever.
- Mon, 22:25: Another reason 80's television is the best: flamethrowers! Today's shows have a serious lack of flamethrowers.

My Backyard Garden - Details and pics!
Jun. 11th, 2011 11:02 pmI have a little garden by my home. It's a garden in the British/city usage of the word, as is it's mostly flowers and containers and the focus on being a nice place to sit and relax. I'm used to the farming version of garden, which is a large plot of land laid out in rows where you grow food to eat and can. That type of garden is out at my mom's house as I don't have room for it by me.
I've gotten smart enough to want to remember what plants I have from year to year, so I'm putting all the details here. But first I'll dazzle you all with some general pictures of my relaxing backyard:

More pics and list of all the things I planted this year:
( It's got pics and details, so I will spare most of you! )
So who wants to come over and visit, sit in the garden and drink a mojito or two?

Spam, spam, spamity-spam
May. 19th, 2011 08:56 pmYou will have noticed the large number of posts that I have put up. It's all various pieces of fic that I have written and never posted here.
Well, actually, the majority of it I have never really posted anywhere. If I write something for a comm, I usually post it to that comm and then just forget about it. If I do post it somewhere else, it's usually hit or miss -- I may have posted it on my lj or ff.net or ao3. I rarely posted it to all three of them and had no pattern in where I did post them.
So, in an effort to 1) get a record of every fic I've written (which is harder than one would think and 2) post the fics so others can read them, I'm posting them everywhere.
Read them if you like, ignore them if you want. I don't write as much as I'd like, but I pleased to see how much I've actually written over the years. Equally pleasing is the fact that I write in so many different fandoms. Yay for being eclectic!
